A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.

Meet Our Talented Jurors

Finding the right jurors to determine the most talented artists to participate in our beloved fair is no small feat; that's why we search far and wide to bring in the most qualified artistic eyes. This year we're fortunate to have the prestige of these two fellow artists!

Dawn Adams

Dawn received a BA from DePauw University, and an MFA in painting from Indiana University, Bloomington. Collaborating in fused glass with her husband, Dale Steffey, they developed a unique body of work for the wall.  She returned to painting exclusively in 2010, focusing on healing imagery and the natural world.  In their 30 years as professional glass artists, and her 14 years as a painter, she created work that hangs in international venues, across the U.S., and in public venues that include 10 hospitals.

Kimberly Conrad

Indianapolis artist, Kimberly Conrad, has an MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from San Diego State University in San Diego, California. She was a founding member of Taboo Studio, a jewelry gallery that showcased national and international metal artists.

After 15 years in San Diego she returned to Indianapolis where she began teaching metalsmithing at Indiana University in Bloomington, and the Indianapolis Art Center. She is currently the Program Manager of Jewelry, Metals, and Fibers. Kimberly recently discovered the humbling art form of oil painting.
